The General Brochure introduces the ministry of Precious Blood Parish Mission. It includes a brief outline of the Proclaiming Abundand Love and the Celebrating Unbounded Mercy parish missions. Based on the ancient practice of Lexio Divino, this simple form of reflecting on a reading from Sacred Scripture can be used by members of faith sharing groups in the parish. No need for books or experts, this simple method is not scripture study, but a simple way to listen to the Word of God. Some parishes use this method for people to prepare to hear the Word by reflecting on the readings for the upcoming weekend. Others prefer to reflect on the Word already proclaimed the previous weekend. Either way, it is a great way to build up the faith of the people, and anyone can lead it with this simple format.
